A New Coat

It’s amazing what a new coat of paint will do, so I’m tending to find a number of canvases.

My previous projects have included a laundry room, a coffee table, a bedroom, a chair (and bedroom continued), a chair and ottoman, and an outdoor shower.

In searching through paint colors for my brother’s condo, I was inspired to paint this headboard and chest. (Gibraltar Cliffs because Benjamin Moore told me it went with Cookie Dough.)

(I need better photography equipment. And a new carpet in this room!!!)

In going through the condo, I came across this little table that needed some care. So I used the leftover paint and glaze from the coffee table experiment.

I’m still very much up in the air about this look, but whatever. Home decor is not my forte. I am smart enough to go with what the experts tell me to do before spending money. But, I didn’t spend any money here.

Now, getting back to paint colors for my brother’s condo. I would think we need to go with a neutral color. He is also adamant about not painting the stained trim, and the cabinets are staying.

So, using Pinterest, I searched for neutrals that go well with stained wood. And because I can never make these kinds of decisions (again, I just go with what the experts tell me), I’m asking you to take this poll. (Sue, have Lauren take the poll, and we will go with whatever she says. Unless the current condo owner happens to have an opinion.)

By the way, I will not be the one painting the condo. That is well beyond my attention span.
